Ana-Mari Poljičak was born in Šibenik in 1978. She completed her primary and secondary education in Šibenik. She graduated from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in Zagreb, University of Zagreb, in 2004 and obtained the title of graduate traffic engineer. She completed her postgraduate doctoral studies at the University of Zagreb at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in 2021 and obtained the academic degree Ph. D. in the scientific field of technical sciences, the scientific field of traffic and transport technology.
After completing her studies in 2006, she was employed at the Postal and Telecommunications School in Zagreb as a professor of professional subjects in the field of Postal and Telecommunication transport. In 2009, she started working at the Polytechnic of Šibenik.
She is the co-author of the script from the course Distributional centres and terminals (Poljičak, A.-M., Ljubić Hinić, M.: Goods terminals, authorized script, Polytechnic of Šibenik, Šibenik, 2016, ISBN 978-953-7566-21-0 ) and is the author and co-author of a number of scientific and expert articles (bib.irb.hr).
