The conference generated conclusions that include:

• Strategic management of cities and the use of AI technologies contribute to financial savings and the acceleration of administrative processes.

• The digitalization of public administration, with an emphasis on efficient public service, has become crucial for the future development of countries.
• In global crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of using digital technologies, especially AI, is emphasized in tracking and analyzing data.
• The development of tourism, the improvement of tourist offerings, and the enhancement of the hotel industry are key for the Republic of Croatia.
• The modern education system necessarily includes digital technology, with a special focus on acquiring knowledge and skills in information technology, including AI.
• Digital transformation, bringing new challenges and opportunities, requires adaptation and the use of AI capabilities to succeed in a dynamic environment.

We placed special emphasis on the issue of digital transformation in today's world, and the key conclusions of the conference were:

• Strategic management and digitalization of cities significantly contribute to major budget savings and faster process execution;

• Digitalization of public administration, aimed at providing a more efficient public service, is essential for the future development of any country;
• The importance of using digital technologies in times of major global crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic;
• The promotion of tourism, the attractiveness of tourist offerings, and the strengthening of the hotel industry are of great importance for the Republic of Croatia;
• Today’s education system is unimaginable without the use of modern digital technologies, making it crucial to focus on acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of information technology.
   

We placed special emphasis on the issue of digital transformation in today's world, primarily due to:

• the significance of digital transformation in the present, along with the new technologies, innovations, and rapid changes it brings;
• the implementation of digital technologies across all business sectors and the potential for building a sustainable connection and better understanding of customer needs;
• discovering new business opportunities through innovation and technology;
• emerging trends brought by digitalization in tourism and gastronomy;
• the role of digital transformation in environmental protection and sustainable development through innovation;
• improved access to information;
• human potential as the key factor in adapting to digital transformation.

We placed special emphasis on coastal and maritime tourism, primarily due to:

• its great potential and important role in promoting sustainable economic growth and employment,
• the improvement of tourism quality,
• the development of recognizable tourist destinations and the creation of new tourist products,
• strengthening the competitiveness of the maritime economy,
• encouraging better transport connectivity alongside improvements in energy infrastructure,
• ensuring the sustainable and long-term development of coastal regions.

With this conference, we placed emphasis on tourism for several reasons:

• out of a desire to develop and strengthen new forms of tourism and recognizable tourist destinations;
• to create new tourist products;
• because the economy of the Republic of Croatia, like the economies of most neighboring countries, heavily relies on tourism; to improve the quality of the tourism offer.

With this conference, we placed emphasis on tourism for several reasons:

• due to the tradition of educating professionals in tourism,
• because of the environment in which we live and work,
• because the Croatian economy relies heavily on tourism,
• out of a desire to develop and strengthen new forms of tourism,
• for the development of recognizable tourist destinations and the creation of new tourist products,
• to improve the quality of the tourism offer,
• and to ensure the satisfaction of all tourism stakeholders.
