Darijo Šego, a University Specialist of Traffic, was born in Šibenik, where he completed his primary and secondary education. In 2005 he completed his graduate and in 2013 a postgraduate specialist studies at the Faculty of Traffic and Transport Sciences, University of Zagreb.
Since 2006, he has been employed at Šibenik University of Applied Sciences, Department of Traffic Studies, Professional undergraduate study of Traffic, first as an external associate, and later as an assistant, lecturer, and senior lecturer. He is the author of the reviewed teaching materials for students at the Department of Traffic Studies. Author and co-author of professional and scientific papers in the area of technical sciences, the field of traffic technology and transport in Croatian and English languages, published in journals and conferences in the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
Darijo Šego actively participates in international teaching programs ERASMUS+ and CEEPUS. As a guest lecturer he visited colleges in Katowice, Skopje, Nitra, Czech Budjovica, Teramo, and Bucharest. He is also invloved in the University`s projects in the field of traffic technology and transport.
From August 2019 to February 2025, he participated in the work of the Students` Sports Association of Šibenik University of Applied Sciences.
Since December 2019, he has been elected as the Head of the Department of Traffic Studies.
