Modern transport is one of the pillars of the development of society and the economy of every country. The traffic system is very complex because it consists of technical, infrastructural, organizational, technological, legal, ecological, economic, and social subsystems with numerous elements, processes, and features. The aim of this course is for students, based on theoretical knowledge and case studies, to define and learn the elements and branches of the transport system, to understand the technical and technological features of land, water, and air transport, to acquire knowledge about the organizational features of transport branches and the complexity of the transport system, to learn about an interdisciplinary approach traffic system and transportation processes, and applying the learned content of this course in practice.

1. To enumerate and explain the elements and branches of the transport system.
2. To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of course content by defining and describing an interdisciplinary approach to the transport system.
3. To describe, compare and relate the technical and technological characteristics of the branches of transport and modern
   transportation technologies.
4. To identify and evaluate the interdependence of the elements of the transport system.
5. To use materials and tools to search scientific and professional literature in their native and English languages.
6. To present the acquired knowledge, ideas, problems and solutions independently and in a team.
