Šibenik University of Applied Sciences and its youngest Department of Health Studies have become partners in the "AGE-MEDU" project – Advancing Geriatric Education for Nurses and Techs at High University, led by the association "Žena" Drniš. The project started in September 2024 and will be implemented over a period of 24 months.
The general goal of the project is to contribute to improving the quality and relevance of activities in higher education institutions within the European Union through transnational and international cooperation with organizations from different sectors. The specific goal is to develop an innovative educational program for nurses and technicians in higher education, with a focus on geriatrics and gerontology, in four EU countries (Croatia, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Greece).
The total project value is €250,000.00.
