The Inclusion Officer coordinates activities at the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences aimed at supporting students in disadvantaged situations or students with fewer opportunities. Currently, the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences, under the Erasmus+ program, provides support to the following categories of students in disadvantaged positions or with fewer opportunities:

• Students whose parents have a lower level of education
• Students from lower socio-economic backgrounds
• Female students in technical fields, male students in the humanities
• Older students, students with children
• Students who completed vocational school, students working alongside their studies, students who commute to study
• Children of Croatian war veterans, students from alternative care backgrounds
• Students from the Roma minority, students identifying as LGBT
• Students from rural areas, smaller towns, and islands
• Homeless students and those at risk of homelessness, refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers
