Logistics could be defined as the management of the flow of goods and raw materials, the processes of making finished products, and associated information, from the point of origin (producer) to the point of final use in accordance with the needs of the customer (consumer). The main goal of logistics is the procurement and supply of the company and the customer (consumer) with the right material (product, raw material, goods), of appropriate quality, in the required quantity, at the right time, in the right place, with the lowest possible costs. Logistics activities necessary to achieve the main goals of logistics are the storage of goods, inventory management, order fulfillment, product packaging, and product transportation.

1. Define and distinguish basic terms and divisions in logistics, storage, and freight forwarding.
2. Analyze and separate information-communication and transport technologies in logistics.
3. Choose, evaluate, and categorize services in the warehouse business.
4. Choose the appropriate packaging and analyze the optimal shipment on the pallet and means of transport.
5. Compare and connect the ways of transporting goods, organizing distribution, and performing city logistics.
6. Propose ways of performing city logistics, handling goods, and reducing inventory costs.
7. Use materials and tools for searching scientific and professional literature in the mother tongue and in English.
8. Present acquired knowledge, ideas, problems, and solutions independently and in a team.
