Acquaintance of students with the market conditions in which economic entities operate, the assumptions that need to be fulfilled in order to realize the business activities for which they were founded. Understanding of basic terms related to the company, entrepreneur and entrepreneurship and their interdependence. Acquisition of knowledge related to company assets, types of costs and ways of their movement depending on the degree of capacity utilization. Processing of cost price calculations and business performance indicators with the aim of determining the company's position on the market.

1. Analyze the concept and meaning of the economy of companies, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship, and explain their interdependence and prerequisites for the establishment and successful operation of a company
2. Differentiate between the basic concepts of company assets, types, duration and method of transferring value to new products and services, choose a method and calculate depreciation, necessary working capital and the degree of capacity utilization.
3. Analyze the types of costs, places and bearers of costs, and the dependence on the degree and changes in capacity utilization
   and propose calculation methods for calculating the price of products and services
4. Interpret the performance and performance measures of business operations in the company and analyze the business policy and economics of business functions in the company
5. To present a seminar paper in which business operations of companies from the field of profession are analyzed
