The aim of the course economic and communal law is to introduce students to the basic concepts of economic, communal law, understanding the organization of communal services, analyzing the basic principles related to the functioning of services, administrative aspects of utility services in Europe and Croatia. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the issues of public services, utility services, and develop their abilities to apply the learned knowledge to solve various problems in utilities.

1. Connect the basic concepts of different branches of law and generalize the issue of work in public administration
2. Analyze interferences of international, European and national law
   .
3. Manage civil service potentials, office operations and various administrative processes and establish communication with public service users
4. Use and develop complex written and oral communication in Croatian and English
5. Independently and responsibly search, interpret and apply relevant literature and legal rules for drafting and adopting regulations and acts in communal economy and institutions
6. Independently draw up acts and submissions and undertake basic procedural actions in administrative and other legal proceedings and in administrative disputes
7. Anticipate the future development of municipal activities as a development for better functioning of cities
