The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the fundamental concepts of informatics and the role and organization of information systems in business and academic environments. Students will acquire basic technical knowledge of information technologies (IT) and their applications in work and business, enabling them to effectively understand and utilize IT solutions.

Through theoretical lectures and practical exercises, students will develop skills in using office software, communication and collaboration tools, as well as technologies for data analysis and processing. Special emphasis is placed on the application of computing tools in everyday business operations, information management, and business communication organization.

1. Evaluate key aspects of information technology, computer architecture, and operating systems.
2. Apply basic and advanced functions of Microsoft Office suite for business communication and organization.
3. Create documents, presentations, and diagrams using appropriate tools.
4. Manage email and calendar in a business environment.
5. Apply functions and formulas in spreadsheets for data analysis and visualization.
6. Create simple databases and use queries and reports for data analysis.
