Introduce students to public health concepts and issues, enabling them to apply and analyze public health problems and independently assess the causal factors that contribute to these problems. Additionally, efforts will be made to equip students with the skills to independently plan nursing procedures and measures in the field of public health.

1. Explain the basic concepts in the field of public health (health, healthcare system, health economics)
2. Identify the risk factors that affect health in all segments of the community
3. Describe health prevention procedures and methods of social intervention in the areas of social security, unemployment, and health
4. Explain the relationships between social needs and social protection, co-protection, and self-protection.
5. Independently plan nursing procedures and measures in preventive medical and social medical aspects at all levels of healthcare
6. Evaluate the effects of nursing procedures and measures in preventive medical and social medical aspects
