Description:
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the specifics of a manager's work, their responsibilities, tasks, business and functions. As part of the course, it is necessary to create a project related to starting your own company based on the same functions.
Learning outcomes:
  1. Define, explain and connect key terms related to management and managers in tourism companies
  2. Analyze the influence of the environment on the management of business processes at different levels of tourism management
    companies and adequate adoption and proposal of strategies
  3. Apply appropriate methods of planning, organizing, managing human resources, leading and
    motivation, and control in tourist companies
  4. Evaluate the importance of managing operations and processes in tourism companies
  5. Project creation related to one's own business in tourism through market analysis, design of products and services and prices, organizational structure, sales and cost projections, and creation of financial structures
