The main goal of the course is to familiarize participants with the concept and types of business risks and to train them for a comprehensive reflection on risks and risk management in order to ensure the sustainability of the company. The specific objectives of the course are to learn about the problem of risk recognition and risk management and to understand the possibilities of risk anticipation. Another specific objective of the course is to adopt risk mitigation mechanisms. The subject is focused on mastering the theory of risk management for the purpose of identifying and predicting risks and on mastering the theory of crisis management for the purpose of mitigating negative effects of risks. Special emphasis is placed on the practical application of what has been learned.

1. Recognize different problems and risks and predict risky situations in business
2. Integrate general knowledge from the field of management into business solutions
3. Critically judge existing and propose new solutions for problems in business practice from areas of management
4. Analyze and interpret key business trends in the micro and macro business environment and propose strategies for the growth and development of a company
5. Use professional literature and terminology when conveying information, proposing ideas and solutions in a business environment
