Description:
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of mechanics and statics based on examples which we find in human the body, and with basics radiological techniques and protection from radiation. Students should be trained to understand the basic physical principles in the human organism.
Learning outcomes:
  1. explain elementary principles mechanics, hydrodynamics and hydrostatics you the impact of electromagnetic radiation and radioactivity on the human body
  2. describe basic radiological equipment, their application in diagnostics and treatment and the radiation protection organization of the Republic of Croatia.
  3. interpret Law on protect from radiation and its significance
