To acquaint students with the fundamental principles of general pathophysiology, the basic principles of specialized pathophysiology, the causes and mechanisms of pathophysiological processes, as well as the general and specific models of organism behavior in health and disease.

1. explain general pathophysiological principles, action, causes and ways of development of pathophysiological processes and the basis of special pathophysiology
2. recognize general ways of organ and tissue insufficiency and special methods of recognizing the severity and significance of symptoms and signs of the disease
3. explain basics of differential diagnosis
