The goal is that students, based on theoretical knowledge and case studies: Define basic ecological and environmental concepts; They understand the problems in their own environment (in traffic and/or in the work environment) in order to be able to act independently towards the environment in a way that minimally affects the condition and components of the environment in terms of permanent sustainable development; They learn to recognize the damage that road users or traffic system stakeholders can cause to natural ecosystems; Apply the learned content of this course in business practice.

1. demonstrate knowledge and understanding of course content by defining and describing basic terms in ecology and environmental protection
2. analyze and compare the relationship between man and his environment in the modern context of the development of transport and transport technology
3. give an example and interpret the impact of road traffic on natural ecosystems and parts of the environment (air, water and sea, soil, flora and fauna)
4. use measures to reduce the negative impact of traffic on the environment
5. to comment and critically judge the actions of road users as well as traffic experts in accordance with the principles of sustainability and responsibility
6. use materials and tools for searching scientific and professional literature in the mother tongue and in English
7. present acquired knowledge, ideas, problems and solutions independently and in a team
