Description:
To acquire the basic and specific knowledge, skills and competences necessary for the medical care of patients with chronic and severe wounds. Understands a holistic approach and up-to-date knowledge of chronic wound care in all areas of health care, including physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cultural aspects that can affect the healing of the wound.
Learning outcomes:
  1. To obtain data, to identify and interpret the condition of a patient who is deviating from normal and, on the basis of the obtained data, to assess and diagnose the condition of the patient.
  2. To plan, implement and evaluate an appropriate and individualised nursing care in collaboration with the patient, caregivers, parents and other healthcare professionals and team members
  3. Critically assess, evaluate, interpret structural knowledge in the provision of health care with the aim of providing evidence-based, high quality care
  4. Organise and implement diagnostic and therapeutic procedures independently or as part of a team
