Description:
To enable students to understand the basic concepts of information technology (IT) and to acquire practical skills in using key office tools.
Students will learn how to effectively manage business communication, organization and computing resources, including computing technologies in
cloud. The course also covers the basics of creating presentations, spreadsheets and databases, with an emphasis on data analysis and visualization.
Emphasis is placed on the practical application of acquired knowledge in real business situations so that students are ready for professional challenges
environment
Learning outcomes:
  1. Analyze the situation, identify opportunities, and anticipate problems faced by organizations and individuals in the application of information technologies.
  2. Define and evaluate the processes of thinking, planning, decision-making, and management in the context of electronically supported business and production.
  3. Link the activities of building and maintaining an information system with the needs of clients and users.
  4. Apply key aspects of information technologies (programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, and project management in the field of information technology).
