The goal is for students, based on theoretical knowledge and case studies:
Define basic terminology and classifications related to health tourism
Explain the position of health tourism within the overall tourism supply and demand
Summarize trends and perspectives for the future development of health tourism in Croatia, Europe and the world, including socioeconomic aspects
Introduce students to the specifics of the work of health professionals in tourism and their role in providing high-quality health tourism services
Introduce students to the way health care functions in Europe
Develop skills in organizing work in health tourism entities, including planning, management and marketing of specific tourism programs and services.

1. Analyze the position of health tourism within the overall tourism supply and demand in the selected destination, identifying key factors that influence its integration.
2. Assess the opportunities and potential for the development of health tourism in the destination, taking into account the social, economic and demographic aspects of the local
   community.
3. Critically evaluate the health tourism market and the role of health professionals in tourism at the national, European and global levels, based on available
   data and trends.
4. Present a well-designed plan for a health tourism development program for the selected destination that includes specific objectives, activities, stakeholders and indicators of
   success.
