To introduce the student to the basic principles and skills of healthcare for patients with internal medicine, infectious diseases and neurological diseases. The acquired and adopted knowledge and skills should enable understanding of the basic principles of healthcare, and the application of basic and specialized skills in nursing practice.

1. explain the basic facts from the pathophysiology, clinical picture, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of the most common internal medicine, neurological and infectious diseases
