To acquaint students with the health care in the hospital and its objectives, the interventions of nurses that are directed at the health care in the hospital, the promotion of health, the objectives of the health care and health promotion of the population and the advice of a multidisciplinary team.

1. explain the goals of community health care and the basic principles of care for healthy and sick individuals in the community
2. explain the importance of an intersectoral approach in protecting the health of healthy or sick individuals or target groups
3. determine the needs and their priorities of sick and healthy individuals and/or families to develop a plan for implementing health care in the community and target groups
4. implement health care for sick and healthy individuals in the community and target groups
5. identify risk factors for health impairment in individuals and families in the community and measures for their prevention
6. distinguish approaches to planning health care in a population of healthy and sick people in the community in relation to planning health care in the user's home, health and social institutions and other health and non-health institutions
