To introduce students to the methods of health promotion as a specificity of the nurse's job and to empower them to identify the health needs of the individual and group, plan health promotion activities, implement a health promotion programme, help individuals and groups to use their own health resources to carry out health promotion activities.

1. to clarify the impact of health promotion on the health of the individula and the community
2. to indicate the basic methods, methods and techniques of teaching and learning and the basic didactic principles of health education
3. to identify the health needs of the individula and the group
4. plan health-responsive activities for the individual and the target group
5. apply methods, ways and techniques of teaching and learning and basic didactic principles in health education
