Traffic is a very complex phenomenon that leads to many conflicting situations. In order to increase traffic safety, it is necessary to implement numerous measures aimed at eliminating or reducing the danger. The risk of traffic accidents is a function of 5 factors that make up the system: man, vehicle, road, road traffic, and incident factor. Traffic engineering is a technical discipline that deals with determining traffic requirements, road capacity, and the relationship between variable traffic quantities. The areas of traffic engineering are traffic studies and analysis, traffic regulation and control, traffic planning, and traffic planning. The aim is to provide students with theoretical knowledge and case studies to define road safety factors, know the lawfulness of traffic management, understand traffic supply and demand issues, learn to identify traffic flow problems so that they can contribute independently to solving problems, and to apply the learned content of this course in business practice. |
